Graveside services for Opal Campbell Clowers will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens.Opal Campbell Clowers, 99, of West Monroe, Louisiana went to her Heavenly home on November 13, 2019. Opal was born on August 25, 1920 as the oldest child of John and Florence Campbell of West Monroe, Louisiana. She has lived in Texas for the last seven years, five years in Longview, Texas and two years in Houston, TexasOpal was an active member of the Baptist church with her last membership being at Emmanuel Baptist Church of West Monroe, Louisiana. She loved to read, with the Holy Bible and mysteries being her favorites. She read the Bible every single night. Opal is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, J.W., her brother, John, and her parents.She is survived by her three children, Roy Clowers (Barbara) of Ridgeland, MS., Ann Chisolm of Houston, TX., and Mike Clowers (Betty) of Longview, TX.
