Graveside services for Ollie “Gerald” Lott, 84, will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.   Bro. Trey Emory of Hyde Park Baptist Church will officiate.

Gerald Lott was born on December 26, 1939, in Tallulah, Louisiana and passed away on September 4, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Gerald accepted the Lord as his Savior and witnessed at every chance and was a deacon of Meadow Grove Baptist Church of Tallulah, Louisiana.  He loved Jesus and telling others. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1957 to 1961.  Gerald and Deanna moved to West Monroe, Louisiana, in 2004, where they enjoyed retirement.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carsie and Sally McNease Lott; granddaughter, Monica Matlock; brother, Doyle Lott; sister, Virginia Ramshur; son-in-law, Darryl Matlock; and brother-in-law, Lester McIntyre.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Deanna Jordan Lott; children, Michael Lott and his wife Rhonda, Jackie Matlock and Tammy Haas; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Beba McIntyre; along with other cherished family and friends.
