Funeral services for Ola Edna Johnson will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Freddie Hightower officiating. Interment will follow at Chatham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Ola was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chatham and was a retired beautician. She was preceded in death by her husband William Stewart Johnson and parents Earnest and Carrie Sutton. Ola was born in Brookhaven, MS on October 5, 1930 and passed away in Chatham, LA on February 20, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Ola is survived by her children, Cheryl Kay Harper and husband Johnny, Sheila Diane Green and husband Jackie; 6 grandchildren, Chad Myers and wife Kristy, James Kennedy and wife Barbara, Brian Myers and wife Amanda, Crystal Morice and significant other Mike LaGrone, Steven Myers and wife Kasey, Jenna Lamkin and husband Brandon; 15 great-grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Cody, Kaylee, Hayley, Clayton, Kadance, Hunter, Mackenzie, Nathan, Kendall, Brenna, Carsen, Skylar, Chase and Peyton; sisters, Francis Johnson and Ruby Salles; numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Kennedy, Chad Myers, Brandon Lamkin, Austin Myers, Steven Myers, Brian Myers, Hunter Myers, Clayton Myers and Cody Myers.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Harper, Jackie Green and Ronnie Shepherd.
