Graveside Service

Norma Nelson Atkins, age 87 of Ruston, Louisiana, passed away on August 22, 2021.  Graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at  2:00 PM, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Officiating will be Dr. Reggie Bridges and Rev. Dale Oden.

Norma was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Atkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla Colvin and husband John Ed of Ruston.  Granddaughter is Beth Alber and husband Jason of Plano, Texas.  Great-grandson is Colton Alber. Norma’s sister-in-law is Myra Nelson of Ruston; three nephews are Roy Nelson, Charles Nelson and Jay Atkins.

Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church of Ruston, Louisiana or the charity of the donor’s choice.
