A Memorial for Nonnie Norman will be held on June 13, 2020, on Saturday. at 2:00 p.m. at Haile Baptist Church in Haile, LA all friends are welcome.
Nonnie B. Pace Norman of Haile, LA., passed away on May 20, 2020 at the age of 91, at Union General Hospital in Farmerville, LA. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Union Parish, LA. Nonnie was a member of Haile Baptist Church in Haile, LA. She loved her garden and always was dedicated to watching it grow. Most people in the community bought peas or turnip greens from her over the years. She also enjoyed 50 years of working as commissioner over the voting register in Union Parish, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Norman, parents, Ernest Pace Sr., and Beatrice, and her brother, Ernest Pace Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Gathright of Downsville, LA; granddaughter, Michelle White (Andy) of Downsville, LA; grandson, Larry Murphy Jr., of Haile, LA; great- grandchildren, Ryan Massey,Tripp, Trystan and Corrina Murphy; brother, Charles Pace (JoAnn); sister, Virginia Royal and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Haile Baptist Church.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all the many prayers and a special thank you to the staff at Union General Hospital for the loving care and support they have shown.
