Nelda Nolan, was born in Farmerville, Louisiana on August 15, 1944 and passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Bennie Tidwell; and her brother, James Bennie Tidwell.
Nelda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry Nolan from West Monroe, Louisiana; son, Brett and his wife Vanessa Nolan; two granddaughters, Haley Nolan and Hannah Waterbury(Quinn); sisters, Rachel Patterson (Gary) and Debbie Thurston(Hank); brother, Phillip Tidwell; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends. She had a special place in all of our hearts and will forever be missed.
A private memorial service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to St Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
