Graveside services for Natica Jean Hennen Hibbard, age 93, of Choudrant, will be 3:30 P.M. Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Douglas Cemetery.  Officiating the service will be Bro. Caleb Tassin.  A visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Douglas Church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Natica was born on February 24, 1929, in Choudrant, LA and died July 22, 2022 in Farmerville, LA.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Wallace Hibbard; parents, Virgil Albert and Bessie Farmer Hennen; and brother William Larkin Hennen.

Natica Jean Hibbard is survived by her daughter, Sharon Jean Hibbard Roach and husband Mitchell; brother, V. A. Hennen, Jr. and wife Joyce; grandchildren, Chad Lear Plunkett, Emily Jean Cooper and husband Clark, Jamie Freeman and husband Jay, Nick Roach and wife Rachel; great grandchildren, Gabe Graham, Shelby and Jacob Freeman, Tyler and Mackenize Roach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both the Hennen/Hibbard family; extended family and friends from the Douglas Community in Choudrant, LA; and Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville, LA.

Pallbearers will be her nephews: Benny Hennen, Landon Hennen, Zeb Payne, Chris Payne, Caleb Tassin, and Luke Tassin.

My mother was Leta Nell Holstead Potts...she and Nitica Jean were best friends growing up in the Choudrant, Douglas area...I believe they graduated together from Choudrant High School...Mom talked about her often and remembered her fondly. I just recently met her shortly before my Dad passed away. He visited with her often and she was a good friend to him after Mom's death.
