A Celebration of Life for Kathy Denise Walding, 64, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 11, 2025 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana. Brother Jeff Hurst will officiate.

Kathy Denise Walding was born on November 29, 1960, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Larry and Betty Walding and passed away on June 13, 2025, in Farmerville, Louisiana. She enjoyed cooking, playing card games with her family, singing karaoke, and dancing the night away. Kathy enjoyed traveling and visited many exciting places both at home and abroad. No matter where she was, she was the life of the party; with a kind smile and warm heart, she would light up the room. Kathy’s most cherished pastime was spending time with her family, friends, and her two step-daughters, Rachel and Brittany.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Larry Walding; mother, Betty Davis; and grandparents, Edgar and Mary Ellen Walding. She is survived by her two sisters, Sherry Smith and husband Roger, Susan Granello and husband Greg; nephews, Ryan Smith, Daniel Coates, Casey Russell and wife Ashley; great niece, Charly; and many family members and friends.

Kathy’s absence leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her. The family appreciates the prayers during this difficult time.
