With profound sadness we announce the passing of Ruth Wilcoxon on Saturday, March 7, 2020, our mother and grandmother who was a friend to all whose life she touched. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Lenoir City, Tennessee at 87 years young.

Ruth was a former long-time resident of West Monroe where she and her husband “Pat” Wilcoxon raised their children and grandchildren and made many life-long friends. They operated a successful businesses for many years before retiring in Tennessee in 2003. Ruth lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved family and never failed to be supportive and encouraging while teaching biblical and Godly values, not only through her words, but through the amazing life of grace and love she lived. Ruth was loved dearly by all who met her and will be greatly missed by all she leaves behind.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, “Pat” Wilcoxon; her son Gary Wilcoxon; her daughter, Susan Phillips; son-in-law Aldo Bon; sister Donna; brothers Carl and Jack.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Carol Bon Parsons and husband Jay; grandchildren Jacob Phillips and wife Charlene, Jamin Bon, Jennifer Bon, and Rachael Phillips; great-granddaughter Piper Phillips; sister Shirley Spann and husband David and sister-in-law Margie Wilcoxon.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
