Funeral services for Myrtie  Laffoon, 79, of Monroe, LA  will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2020 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Ken Hofler officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Myrtie was born July 7, 1940 in Columbia, LA and passed away March 14, 2020 in Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond V. Laffoon; daughter-in-law, Suzie Laffoon; son-in-law, Kenneth Hofler.  She enjoyed watching television, putting puzzles together and cooking.

Myrtie is survived by her children Huey Laffoon and wife Jeanie, David Laffoon, Connie Hofler, Ronald Laffoon and wife Angela; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
