Interment to follow at Carlton Cemetery, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mrs. Cox was born January 31, 1917 in Downsville, LA; and passed away December 7, 2007 in Barton Stone Home in Jacksonville. She was the daughter of Cleve and Clara Foster McDaniel. She married John Howell Cox in 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1980. She was employed at A& P Food Store in Shreveport for 15 years. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles McDaniel surviving wife, Margie of Calhoun, LA and Harold McDaniel.Mrs. Cox is survived by a son, Dr. John D. Cox and wife Cheryl of Jacksonville, IL; two grandchildren, Sean C. Cox of Instanbul, Turkey and Brittany L. Cox of Biddeford, ME; a brother, James McDaniel of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
