Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 12, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
Ernie was born on July 2, 1936 in West Monroe and passed away on July 10, 2021 in West Monroe. She was a member of Luna Assembly of God. Ernie retired as a secretary for the city of Monroe and she was the secretary of Bonnett Memorial Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Bonnett; and her parents, Bummie and Willie Wheat.
Ernie is survived by her daughter, Janice Hutson; grandson, Randall Hutson; great-granddaughter, Alicia Hutson and fiancé Garrett Peters; sister, Ina Tolbird and husband Julius; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mike Tolbird, Glenn Simon, Wayne Dowdy, Garrett Peters, and Ted Foster. Honorary Pallbearer will be Julius Tolbird.
