Graveside services for Mrs. Clara Taylor, 87, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 11:00 AM at Liberty-Linville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville. Clara was born January 30, 1933 in Dean, La. and passed away February 29, 2020 in Farmerville.
Clara D. Taylor known to those who loved her most as “momma” and “murmur.” She was the light of her kids and the heart and soul of her grandkids. She left a legacy of love, selflessness, generosity, kindness, and most of all her love for travel and adventure. Murmur’s love for traveling was passed on to her grandchildren. There was never a school break that passed when she did not have a trip planned for them! She was an A+++ grandmother! And an even better Momma!
Clara had cared for others working as a nurse at Richardson Medical Center for many years. Nursing was her life when she was not with her kids or grandkids. She was the best nurse this side of Heaven! Her caring and loving attitude was always evident to each patient and their family that she cared for. She was an amazing team player with her co-workers, too. She was always there to help and always ready to make a difference. Murmur’s heart was always ready to give! She never turned down an opportunity to bless her kids, grandkids and others; St. Jude’s, Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, grand kids schools, girl scouts, police associations, plus hundreds more! She simply loved with her whole heart and served in every way she could by giving. Murmur will be missed immensely, but thankful we all carry a piece of her in our hearts!
