Funeral services for Mr. Troy Dobbins, Jr. will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday July 20, 2019 at Bethel Assembly of God Church. Bro. Frank Sellers and Wayne Pilcher will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mr. Dobbins was born March 10, 1936 in Dyess, Arkansas and passed away July 16, 2019 in West Monroe. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and was retired from the Local Carpenters Union. Mr. Dobbins was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Dorothy Dobbins.Mr. Dobbins is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fredonia; son, Steven Dobbins and wife Kimberly; grandsons, Brandon Dobbins and wife Lauren, Trey Dobbins, Taylor Dobbins and wife Layne, and Kyle Dobbins; great-granddaughter, Cathrine Dobbins; 3 sisters, Mary Sue Weatherwax, Shirley Landry and Alice Fontenot; several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Brandon Dobbins, Trey Dobbins, Taylor Dobbins, Kyle Dobbins , Ricky McGrew and Dennis Simmons.Honorary pallbearers; Mike Dukes and Lanny Williams.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
