Leamon Best, 82, died peacefully at his home in Ruston on Monday, December 28, 2015. Jeff, I was sorry to read of your Dad's passing. I didn't realize that he and my dad were both born in 1933. Some of my earliest memories are of watching your dad conduct the most organized practices of your baseball games. In addition to ya'll having talent your teams were always the best prepared by far. I also don't ever remember entering Temple Baptist Church whether it be a Wednesday, Sunday Morning or Evening that I didn't see both your Mom and Dad. He lived a long and full life and you were lucky to call him 'Dad".
