Graveside services for Franklin L. Arender will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Hasley Cemetery Gazebo with visitation beginning at 2:30 P.M. Todd Arender will officiate.Franklin was born on July 4, 1935 in Dry Prong, LA and passed away on November 5, 2016 in Rayville, LA. He was a self employed land and oil broker and was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Nadine Sutton Arender; brothers, Dwight Arender and Loyde Patrick Arender.Franklin is survived by his wife, Sheryl Arender; daughters, Carolyn Faye Arender Clarke and husband Tom of Rayville, LA and Susan Arender Barksdale and husband Don of Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Lane Clarke, Joseph Clarke, Sophie Barksdale and Derek Barksdale; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Arender of Mountain View, AR and Doyle Arender of Chatham, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.

FRANK :We mourn the loss of, but even more so, we celebrate the life of a man that humanity needs a lot more of. Frank was a man of integrity. A gentle man, but strong, loving, caring, selfless & kind. And, he had a wonderful sense of humor to boot! We all should strive to be the wonderful person he was (I know I do). Thank you Frank, for blessing us by being a part of each of our lives! I have no doubt that you are happily looking down at us, playing your guitar, singing "You should see me now....." !
