Dan Futch left a message on December 7, 2011:
Dear Claire and Angie, You have been on my mind a lot this past week or so. I have such wonderful memories of both your parents. Whether thinking of their roles as Christians, parents, siblings, cousins, friends, or business associates, they lived each to the very highest standards humanly possible. And they were always so fun to be with. In your grief, I hope you will realize just how richly blessed we have all been to be a part of such wonderful earthly families and the uncountable blessings we have in the family of God. I will never forget Ralph and Bobbie! Your cousin and friend, Dan Futch

Sweet cousins, The service for your Mom yesterday was simply lovely, like her. It is such a blessing to have had her for my Aunt. All that was said about her at the funeral rang so true for me. She was a precious example of dignity and grace. We will all miss her in our own special way, but you girls and Aunt Lynette will especially be in my prayers in the days ahead. God bless you all, Lou Ellen

I loved my Aunt Bobbie, as we all did I will miss her, she was someone who believed in family and keeping up with loved ones...a trait growing rarer by the day. She loved her family and tried to organize reunions and always welcomed visits from brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed. The world is a little poorer without her

I worked in the same department with Bobbie at Murphy Oil for a number of years. I am saddened by her passing. It wasn't easy for her at times...as we were a "raucous" bunch. She took the shenanigans with such grace...one of the few ladies I knew who still blushed! Bobbie and Ralph were the salt of the earth. Sadly, that can't be said these days about very many folks.
