Prayers and blessings to Laverne and family. Dr. Bodron was a fine man, a gentleman and a great doctor. This community was blessed to have had him practicing, taking care of our children for so many years. Regret that he won't be here to see his beloved "tigers" play for the National Championship.
The best Doctor I have ever know. He was my doctor as a child and then both of my boys
Dr Bodron was my mother’s treasured friend and trusted colleague. I speak for my entire family to say that we all loved him for what he was to her. He was a true physician whose concern for the welfare of his patients was his utmost priority. He leaves a legacy of excellent medical care for many generations of us in our area. I am certain Dr Fichter was waiting for him in heaven.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Dr. Bodron was my pediatrician from the time I was a newborn to when I left for college. He was THE BEST! I will always remember his energy, enthusiasm, quick intellect, and his black boots that he always seemed to wear in the office. I'm so glad I got to see him at BDCC about 5 years ago when I was home visiting my mom for Mother's Day; he was able to meet and hold my baby daughter who was about 9 months old at the time. He fought the good fight, he finished the race and had great faith. I will always remember him fondly. Prayers and hugs to you during this time. Love, Catherine Coates Walts
Wonderful doctor! Carried our son out of the operating room when he was born in 1973, and was his doctor till he was too old to see him. Treated my nephews and niece, we all loved Dr. Bodron. Correctly Diagnosed my niece’s rheumatoid arthritis when the “specialists” were saying she didn’t have it. My condolences to your family for the loss of this wonderful man.
Dr abide in was my pediatrician from when I was born in 1975 - 1993. Many find memories of the best pediatrician in the world!
Our sincere condolences to Laverne and Dr. Bodron's family. May God give you peace at this time.
Dr Bodron was always considered a fine pediatrician. I remember a funny tale about him that I wanted to share with his family... Dr Bodron was on call one night when I called him about my screaming 4year old Allie with a terrible ear infection. He said, “AMY, you know you could have prevented all this if you would have put a combo solution of alcohol and vinegar in her ears every time she had water near her ears!” I said, “ yes sir, I know!” Ha. He was a straight forward doc, who loved his babies and treated them always, like they were his!!! Great old schooled DOC!!! May your family have comfort during this time and also proudness having a father like him!
Great physician. Great Man
Dr. Bodron was my husband’s pediatrician and then both our sons. Even when our children were young adults they’d still go to him when needed. He was the best of the best. Prayers and Hugs.

Dr. Bodron was my son’s Pediatrician from the time he was born in 1998 until he retired. He was an “old school” doctor who still believed in treating with antibiotics. Dr. Bodron was always smiling and very nice to me and my son! He was a kind, nice, loving doctor. He will be missed!
Dr. Bodron was such and kind, patient, and knowledgeable physician. He was my three sons pediatrician from birth until his retirement, or until age prevented them from seeing him. I most remember many times in his office, if I was having trouble understanding his diagnosis, he would retrieve his medical books and show me pictures, so I could better understand. Condolences and prayers to his family. He was truly a great man and doctor.

I was honored to work with Dr. Bodron for 5yrs; and fondly known as Edna. He couldn't remember my name in the beginning, so Edna was what he called me! Lol. Never a dull moment! He loved his patients; he genuinely cared. Thank you Dr. Bodron for diagnosing and treating my baby years ago! We've lost one of our best! Rest in Peace. Your work here is done. Prayers for comfort and strength for his loved ones, that only God can give... II Corinthians 5:7-8 ‚ù§

Loved Dr. Bodron and Dr. Bullock. Hard to find great doctors like they were. Started using them in 1984 with my first born.
I was Dr. Bodron’s patient from the early 70’s until 1987. He always made me feel so comfortable with his true concern for me as a patient. I remember in 1987 when he told me that I had to see a grown up doctor and I was terrified. Dr Bodron always made me better and spoke directly to me asking me how I felt. He explained things to me which let me know that I would be taken care of. I will always remember his compassion and his smile. He will be missed. Prayers for you Mrs. Lavarne and all of the family.
I saw Dr. Bodron if my pediatrician Dr. Fichtor was out town. I am very saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Bodron. You will be greatly missed.
Dr Boston was the pediatrician for my children. I adored him. He would come in telling me what the problem was and if I had trouble understanding I would say ok Now tell me that In English. He would laugh and explain so I could understand. Also when my daughter was born he came in the room and I was sitting in a chair and my husband was in the bed. He looked and said: Ahhh sex change!!. He will be missed He was a wonderful person. Prayers and condolences to his family and friends
My family moved to Monroe in 1959. I was five years old. He was the doctor to all three of the children in our family - I had two younger siblings. He was my doctor until I was age 15 and I remember being upset because I was too old to see him anymore. He was such a nice man. My most heartfelt condolences to his family.

Dr. Bodron, was my Pediatrician growing up. He was great and we remained Friends through the years. I was Friends with his boys (Mark and Mil) and always thought so much of Dr. Buddy and his Family. He will definitely be missed! I am sorry we are out of town and will miss his funeral service. May God bless the Bodron Family during this time of passing.
When starting our family, I asked two good friends who their pediatrician was. Both recommended Dr. Bodron because he would treat the child with expert care and he would make the parent feel comfortable. I found both to be true. He was the best ! Our love and prayers to Laverne and the family. Susan and Ed Coates
I am very saddened of the loss of Dr. Bodron.. he was a wonderful doctor. He took care of my oldest daughter as soon as she was born. He directed me to all the necessary doctors to help my babygirl have a normal life. She would not be where she is today if it wasn't for him. I have spent countless days, hours and years with him, as she stayed in the hospital quite often. On our last visit with him in 2010 before he retired I took a picture of him and my daughter. He made a huge impact on her life and mine. I will be forever grateful for him, Dr. Stanley and Dr. Ricks. I will be praying for peace and comfort for his family. He will always be in our hearts.
I am so sorry to hear my favorite pediatrician has passed. He was the greatest. No matter the time or day, he was available for his patients. He attended all 3 of my children. He was like family & knew his patients parents on sight. More doctors need to have his bedside manner.. he was truly the BEST! God bless you all...
Dr. Bodron took care of my three sons, then grandchildren and onto great-grandchildren until he retired. Thirty nine years of the best care a family could have.
He was mine and my moms doctor . we loved him so much
