Private graveside services for Mildred Caughlin, 90, of West Monroe will be held  at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tom Lowe will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mildred was born August 31, 1931 and passed away September 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Danny Hester; sons, Lamar Clowers and Larry Clowers.

Mildred is survived by husband Edwin Brooks Caughlin; children, Betty McKaskle (Jerry), Diane Smith (Mickey), Linda Hale (Kent), Jackie Clowers (Kara), Jan Newell (Chris), Lisa Foster (Courtney); step-son Eddie Caughlin (Virginia);step-daughter Alesa Caughlin; sister Lois Griffin; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
