Graveside services for Mildred Braddock, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe. Alton Braddock will officiate. Mildred was born August 21, 1923 in Grayson, LA and passed away April 26, 2013. She was a homemaker and member of North Monroe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Braddock and parents, Richard and Eula Volentine. She is survived by Jim Braddock, son, of Monroe, and James C. Braddock, Jr., grandson, of Houston, TX. The family would like to extend special thanks to Karen Traxler and the staff at Rosemont Assisted Living and Natalie with LA Hospice. Jim, we just heard today 5/21 about Aunt Mildred passing away. So sorry to hear about her passing. She was always such a sweet, caring lady. Mom is living withBecky at Olla. So sorry for your loss. My memories of your parents go back to the late 1960s when we were members of Temple Baptist Church. I too am now a member of NMBC, just last week while looking at the names of our nursing home church members came across your Mother's name and wondered if she was the same person I had known years ago. I remember them as quiet but very faithful. Will keep you in my prayers.
