Uncle Melvin, you will be so missed by me and many, many others. You were, to me, one of the wisest men I've ever known. One of the things about you that I loved so much was that you were so comfortable in your skin. You could tell a story like no other, and there were many. You made me feel as though I was living the experience with you.. That is a mark of a GREAT STORY TELLER. My mother, Christine, and your big sister, loved you with all her heart. You think that she didn't know you the last time you visited her, but she did, believe me she did. I will never, ever forget you and the conversations we have had over the years. You were so tenacious in your battle to stay here, but I know you are with our Lord now, in a place which is beyond our imaginations. One day we will be there with you and countless others that have said "good-bye" to us. Love, hugs, and kisses to you and Aunt Ruby, Bo, his family and so many others who are missing you.
