Funeral services for Maxine Wyatt Hollis, will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Brother Don Delukie officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.Mrs. Hollis was born on October 29, 1927 in Ouachita Parish and passed away on December 13, 2015 in Monroe, LA. She loved painting and cooking, and loved to sew was very involved in her church, Sterlington Church of Christ, and also was involved in her Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Hollis and brother, Lee Gordon Wyatt.Mrs. Hollis is survived by her sister, Betty McDougle; and numerous nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
