So sad to see Mrs. Maureen leave our presence. But I’m thankful she gets to be with Jesus now. She was such an encouragement to this young pastor and I will be grateful for all the times I got to spend talking and laughing with her and John and eating meals at their table. Especially the tea cakes…man were those good! She also loved my wife and children so much and they knew it! Praying for John and Patti and asking Jesus to surround them and bring them comfort during this season of grief. May the eternal hope of Christ give them strength in the coming days, weeks, and months!
