Mary Trout, 91, of Spencer, Louisiana, was born on November 6, 1931 and passed away on May 3, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana.  Funeral services will be held immediately following at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tracy Ferriss officiating.  Interment will be at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Linville, Louisiana under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville.

Mrs. Trout was preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn Trout; father, Ben Gates; mother, Eva Gates; daughter, Susan Turner; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Bowen (Randy) of Linville, Louisiana and Margaret Trout of Spencer, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren, Amber, Julie, Jared, Michelle, Wendy, Tracy, and Lee; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lucy Hollis of West Monroe, Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jared Bowen, Ronnie Jones, Ben Thomas, Chris Mike, Pete Parks, and Deacon Haacks.

Memorials may be made to The House Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
