Mary met Harold while attending LA Tech, their first date was to a Techster Basketball game. They enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage as avid LSU and Louisiana Tech sports fans. During those years, Mary dedicated 30 years of service to AT&T (formerly Bell South). Prior to retirement and not wanting to be the sole family member without a college degree, she returned to study at NLU (currently ULM) at the age of 50. After retirement she worked as a Customer Service instructor for AT&T traveling all over the South. She continued working at Carpenter’s Chiropractor Clinic and lastly at Union General Hospital. Her work family was as important to her as her own family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren – she and Harold would travel with them and always enjoyed watching their sporting events.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Farmerville Church of Christ with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 11:00 a.m. under the care of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Farmerville, Louisiana.
