After a long battle with illness, Elizabeth Malone stepped out of our world and into the arms of Jesus on September 30, 2011 in West Monroe. Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Bailey Malone, 89, of Rocky Branch, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. Mark Foster and Rev. Fred Foster will be officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Malone was born December 11, 1921 in Rocky Branch, LA. Elizabeth was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Pentecostals of the Twin Cities Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert T. Malone; father and mother Denceley and Ada Gates Bailey; brothers Sidney, Earl, Ed, Etheridge Pete, Elliotte, and Elwood Leo Bailey; and sisters Eunice Raborn, Edna Lankford, Ethel Scarborough, and Estella Kvaternik. Elizabeth is survived by a brother, Elder Bailey and wife Caroline; children, Robert E. Malone and wife Kylene, Pam Winkle and husband Ed, Jim T. Malone and wife Debbie; Terry L. Malone, Paula Wright and husband David; grandchildren, Chris and Tim Malone, Dawn Jones and husband Jeff, Ashley Kitchen, Matt, Josh, and Jessica Malone, Adrienne Hinkle and husband Eric, Derrick Corrie and friend Nicole, Benjamin Corrie and wife Alyson, Shelby and Whitney Wright; and great grandchildren, Katie and Megan Jones, and Mason Beaux. She will be remembered always as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put her loved ones before herself. Pallbearers will be Tim, Chris, and Matt Malone, Derrick and Benjamin Corrie, David Wright, and Ed Winkel. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
