Officiating the services will be Dr. Allison Moody. Interment will be at Sibley Cemetery in Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mrs. Hinton was born June 1, 1920 and passed away August 5, 2014 following a brief illness.She is preceded in death by her husband: John M. Hinton, Jr; son-in-law: Jay C. Casey; 2 brothers and 1 sister.Mrs. Hinton was a member of Alabama Presbyterian Church and the Literia Club, and was a volunteer at Lincoln General Hospital (Pink Lady).She is survived by daughters: Marijon Hinton Echols and husband Roy of Downsville, and Hilda Anne Hinton Casey of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren: Malcolm Echols and wife Melissa, Kimberly Klock and husband Christopher, and Meredith Smalling; and great grandchildren: Chelsey Echols, Chase Echols, Trinity Klock, Charlie Klock and Cooper Smalling. Pallbearers will be O.F. (Fred) McLemore, Mike Dubose, Mack Bain, Ted Dubose, Jack McClelland, Mike Dubose, and Terry Williams.Honorary pallbearers will be Aubrey Gaston, Marshal Boyd, Jimmy Williams, J.N. Walpole, Bobby Ledford, Rick O’Neal, John O’Neal, O.L. Brewster, Chick Childress, Ray Odom and Gene Posey.
