I am MaryAnns friend. We not only had business dealings but we shared many hours talking about her family and how much she loved them all. She never tired talking about her kids and grandkids. We all ways had a martini & looked out at the Gulf and sound. I miss her so much. All her friends here at Santa Rosa Towers give our condolences to her family, as well as Mr. Ralph who I know cherished MaryAnn. WE LOVE YOU MARYANN.

We are really going to miss Mary Ann at Santa Rosa Towers. When I first purchased in the building 6 or 7 years ago I quickly found the Louisiana bunch and impressed Mary Ann with my aquaintences in Monroe and around the state. We shared similar views on politics and religion and thus became good buddies. I enjoyed meeting her family when they came to visit, and when the invitation would come to join them for her famous crab avacado salad....l came running. As all fellow Louisianians, we enjoy good food and I would share a few meals with her I was cooking. Mary Ann would also join me for our annual ladies' party on the beach whenever she could make it. We will miss her dearly and hope to keep in touch with the rest of the family. God Bless You and keep the Johnston family during this time. Rhonda Dorfman

Sorry to learn of Mrs. Johnston's death. She was very special to me, and I'll always have fond memories of the times spent in her home in Sterlington. Regretfully, Betty Jean and I are in Colorado and will be unable to be present for her visitation and service.
