Mary Adeline Garnes Eveson was born September 8, 1945 in Wooster, Ohio and passed away January 13, 2023 in West Monroe.
Mary was born to Tapley A. Garnes and Margaret J. Garnes. She met and married her Army pen pal who was stationed in Germany at the time. When he came stateside he took her to her senior prom. Twenty two years in the Army and many stations such as Hawaii and Alaska they retired to Rockport, Texas. Raising 4 great children and being the happiest ever, seeing and experiencing so much.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband John Warner Eveson ; her parents Tapley A. Garnes and Margaret Jane; sister Emma Jane Garnes; brother Daton Garnes.
Mary is survived by her children Jeanette Eveson Jordan and husband David, Janelle Eveson Kutia and husband Paul, William J. Eveson and Joseph E. Eveson and wife Martina; 9 grandchildren Peter Schroeder, Jared Ehrlich, William Miller, Emily Nash, Jennifer Eveson, Elizabeth Egler, Ethan Kutina, Andrew Jordan and Matthew Jordan; 17 great-grandchildren.
