John Sachs left a message on October 27, 2017:
Marsha Kay was such a dear friend to my mother and father, Fan and Tony Sachs. When new books were received by the Parish Library she would compile a selected reading collection for them and set the books aside, call mom and dad, and have the books ready for them as soon as they arrived. She knew their reading preferences well. Often mom and dad commented on how much they appreciated this kindness by Marsha Kay (even though it was bending the rules a bit.) I thank her for her kindnesses to my parents, her warm greeting of me when we chanced to meet, and all that she did to make and keep Ruston a nice place to call home.

simplylou880I was saddened to hear about the passing of Ms. Marsha Kay today. I was a neighbor of hers for a few years. She was a true original in every possible way. I know she will be missed.

So sad to hear. Mother and I send our thoughts, prayers, and love to the family. Many remembrances of afternoons at the farm laughing at her stories of school days with Daddy.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My condolences to the family during this time. I am truly sorry for your loss. Please find comfort and hope found at Revelation 21: 3, 4.
Track & Faye Kavanaugh left a message on October 21, 2017:
We like to remember Marsha in the late 70s & early 80's when we returned to make Clay our home. She was always willing to be a part of gardening, fishing, even sledding (on a sheet of tin) down Hinton's Hill during one of the few snow falls which occurred. We still have some of her woodworking & needlepoint/counted cross-stitch projects: a serving tray, bunny basket, and framed prints. She always loved being involved in the Kavanaugh children's lives.
