Marlene was born June 2, 1929 in Devol, Oklahoma and passed away on August 11, 2020 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by husbands, Coy Jennings and Ed Estep as well as a grandchild, Ashley Davis. Marlene worked as a bookkeeper for over 74 years.
Marlene was an active member of her church and a beloved friend and mentor to many. If you needed to talk, she was there to listen. To know her was to love her. To say she loved hospitality would be an understatement, as it would be hard to count the people who she’s blessed through the years with her gift. She loved to cook for anyone who’d let her, and those who have sat at her table surely never forgot it! Her table was her place of ministry, and she did it so beautifully. Marlene loved and served people with everything within her.
Marlene is survived by her sons Bill Jennings and John Jennings, daughters Kathy Parkerson and husband, Terry and Ashten Estep; sister, Lynn Watson and husband Jim; Step-Son Kyle Estep and wife Cindi; Step-Daughter Debi Killen; grandchildren Melissa Croft and husband Dean; grandson Brandon Estep; granddaughters Savannah Ray and husband Michael, Morgan Estep, Kaylie Estep, and Laureli Estep; and great grandchild Anberlyn Croft and other grand and great grandchildren.
