Funeral services for Mark Anthony Tony Holtzclaw, 56, of Ruston, LA will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston. Bro. Greg Tipton, Bro. Jerry Whitman, and Sheriff, Mike Stone will officiate. Interment will follow at Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, February 22, at Temple Baptist Church.Tony was born on December 24, 1961 in Ruston to Mark and JoAnn Fuller Holtzclaw and passed away at his home in Ruston, LA on February 19, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Tony worked for the Lincoln Parish Sheriff Department for 19 years, along with owning his business, Holtzclaw Contracting Service, for 17 years. He was an active member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. He loved his Lord, his family, and his friends very much. Tony also enjoyed working in the yard, fishing, and spending time with his dog, Tazer. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Mark Olan Holtzclaw.Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita Taylor Holtzclaw of Ruston; children: Kacie Lynn Holtzclaw of West Monroe and Shelby Nicole Holtzclaw of Ruston; step-children: Daniel Caskey and wife, Jodi of Dodson, LA, Lesley Duck and husband Ray of Jonesboro, LA, and Lindsey Allen and husband Chris of Jena, LA; 9 grandchildren; mother, JoAnn Fuller Holtzclaw of Ruston, LA; sisters: Cindy Porter and husband Steve of Shreveport, LA and Debbie Brister and husband Randy of Ruston; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.Pallbearers will be Matt Henderson, Will Brantley, Landon Hunt, Trey McGuire, Justin Landrum, Brad Lamkin, and Stephen Williams.
