THE death of a child is among the most agonizing events that can be experienced. God has the power to reverse such losses. 2 Kings 4:8-37 relates the resurrection of a young boy by the prophet Elisha. This and other resurrection accounts are a demonstration of what Jehovah will do in a more outstanding way in the paradise earth to come (Rev. 21:4). The Bible’s promise that the dead can live again does not remove the hurt in your heart. But picture the future with your precious Marjorie in your arms. The thought of being able to hold her again may make your pain easier to bear. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
