Marion “Mutt” Tarver was born on July 15, 1947 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on August 19, 2024 in Monroe, LA.
Mutt was a Manager at Twin City Acceptance Corporation for 40 years. He was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church, coached girls softball and loved hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Marylee Tarver; brothers, Ronnie Tarver, John Tarver and James Tarver; sister, Geneva Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Tarver; daughters, Jessica Tarver and Courtney (Freddie) Jennings; grandchildren, Destany (Robert) Shoemaker, Cailyn Elmore, Trinity Benton, Madelyn Jennings, and Aidyn Jennings; great-granddaughter, Henley Shoemaker; sister, Laura Hawthorne and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
