Funeral services for Marie Hicks will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Hyde Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Bro. Jeff Luellen and Bro. Ricky Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Point, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, George Ramsey Hicks; parents, Hazel Bryant Childress and Dawson Childress; three sisters; one brother; and one great-granddaughterMarie is survived by her sons, James Dawson Hicks and Scott Ramsey Hicks; daughters, Susan Hicks Windham and Danna Hicks Davis; grandchildren, Derek, Jeremie, Justin, Kelli, Andrew, Jennifer, Kelsi, Kallie, Alex, Eli, Bryan, Drew, Heather, Ryan. Steffany and Brook; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
