A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM for Marianne Dalton Jones at Cornerstone Baptist Church 3834 Jonesboro Road West Monroe. Rev. James Everage and Rev. Johnny Parker will officiate.Marianne was born on January 29, 1965. She received the ultimate healing on December 4, 2016 when she went to be with her Lord. She fought a brave battle for almost 3 years. Until she got sick she worked at Cornerstone Hospital.She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jones; parents, Tommy and Jean Dalton; brother, Tommy Jr.; sister, Doris Lively (Eugene) 4 children; Tiffany Dalton, Heather Peet, Thomas Williams (Lindsay), Tyler Smith (Rhonda) and 11 grandchildren.Special thanks go to sister Doris Lively, special friend, Lynn Cowan, Dr. Marquarde and all personel on the 3rd floor at Glenwood Medical Center.In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cancer Society or St. Jude.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA

There are no words of sympathy that can ease the sorry that each of you share with the loss of your mother. She was such a good parent as well as Mother. She was very proud of all of you. I saw her at Granny's several months ago. She came to my table to talk with me. She looked good to me. Even though she had all of her medical problems, she still had a smile on her face. She mentioned each of you children and how you were doing. You have a lot of fond memories of your Mother. She will always be with you in spirit for as long as you live.Again, I am so sorry for your loss. She was great in my books.Mrs. Copes

I was honored to have the privilege of meeting this brave and strong woman. I went to her house one day to take her some things she was wanting and needing and she opened her house up to me like she had known me her entire life. We even went to her bedroom and hung out while she showed me some things. I knew at that moment that her friends were lucky to have her as a friend. Now Marianne is celebrating with Him, her suffering is over. Jimmy, Duane and I love you and are here for you.

i am so sorry to hear the news. My prayers go up for you and your family. It has been years since I saw you....but the first thing that comes to mind are our talks sitting in the pews at church before services started...

I'm so sorry for the loss of Marianne. I remember as a little girl always playing with her kids and having cookouts at my grandma Edith and Papaw Everett's house. You will be dearly missed. Live, thoughts, and prayers.
