Funeral services for Margie Ruth McIntire Weeks, age 76, of Ruston, La will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Clay United Methodist Church. Bro. Dana Thrash and Bro. J.E. Brown will officiate with burial to follow in the Ansley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.Margie Ruth was born on May 28, 1941 in Ansley, LA and passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2018. She looked at her talent as a pianist as a ministry and was church pianist for Clay United Methodist Church as well as the evening pianist for DaySpring Ministry in Ruston for many years. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother.Margie Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deanna Rushing and husband, David; her sons: Casey Weeks and wife, Kathy; and Hugh Weeks; brother: Billy McIntire and wife, Minnie. Margie also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Ethan Ramsey, James McCullin, John Kavanaugh, Brian Roberts, Robert Jenkins, and Ty Roberts.Visitation will be on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 5 7 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
