I am so sorry to hear about Margie's death..Even though we have been gone from Ruston for many years I will always remember our years together in the Wednesday Quilting Group. My thoughts are with all of her family.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Drewett's passing. I only met her and Mr. Drewett once. They were so kind, and we were so grateful, they opened their home to my daughter and now my son-in-law's wedding in 2007. I will always remember Mrs. Drewett as a "Southern Belle", so very hospitable, a delight to listen to. She will be missed but always remembered.

I introduced Margie and Jerry to each other in the fall of 1962. I have told their children that I was the one responsible for their being born. They were meant to be together loving and caring for each other. My earliest fond memories when Jerry and I would accompany Margie and her roommates to Marksville for dances at the Pelican Club.
