I have many good memories of Alene. Visiting with her during my weekly trips to her beauty shop were always enjoyable. She was one of those rare individuals who never talked badly about others, always had a positive attitude, and was positively devoted to her children. She will surely be missed.

I always had fond memories of Aunt Alene and Uncle Peter. She was always so sweet and loved children. As a child I loved going to their house since a child could do no wrong there. I can still hear her saying "Melvin don't do that. Please don't do that" in a soft voice when he would cut up as he was prone to do. Sorry I can't be there, but know all the Atlanta kin are thinking of you.

Dearest Brazzel Family:Ms. Alene waited a very long time to be reunited with her husband, Leon and Jonathan. During her wait she lived a life giving to others in so many ways. She provided a service of beauty for many over the years as a hairdresser occupation and with this service it was served with lots of love more than just a shampoo and set as it use to be called. She loved her family with all of heart and would do anything to lift a burden for them to make their life easier. She served as a guidance, confidant, and spiritual healer to all who were graced with her presence. This was done with good old southern humor and could keep me laughing with her own translation of vocabulary. My heart hearts for her family who loved her but rejoice in the reunion of family and Cuddles who were all waiting on her to cross over. I will not be able to attend the service in person but my heart will be there with all who attend. Much love, thoughts and prayers!!!!Libby

There was no one like Alene. She was hard working, fun loving and absolutely adored her family. Give Alene a few minutes, and she could whip up a meal for a house full of people. Thanks for all those meals, Alene, you will be missed.
