Mrs. Marjorie Wade Terrell was one of my favorite teachers of all time and will always have a special place in my heart. She had enough faith in my abilities to send me to the district literary rally in English III, where I won first place. I then went to the state rally, where I won third place. She also submitted one of my poems to the National Anthology of Poetry and it was published in two books. From these experiences grew a love of writing, and I am currently trying to become a published author. She was a beautiful person, inside and out and a true inspiration to all of her students. I enjoyed every day of her class and will never forget the good times my classmates and I had there. I told her about writing my autobiography regarding my teaching experiences and she was looking forward to reading it. My sincere sympathies to the entire family on her passing.

Nonie and I were so saddened to hear of Marjorie's passing. Our mother Bertha Lou really cared for Marjorie, and they enjoyed and supported each other. This is another sad moment, but I suspect they're catching up now. Johnette Edwards McKown

Marjorie will always remain to me, as the best friend of Granny BaileyChristene. She was also, to me, a best friend when hard times abounded in my life. That smile "fixed" everything. She had such wisdom and grace! My prayers are with your family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I grew up in Farmerville and I remember her. I remember walking by her house all the time. In a small town like Farmerville, you grow up knowing everybody. I have a lot of memories from my childhood and my father.

So sorry to hear of the passing of MaMargie. As Hunter Taylor's grandmother that is all I ever knew her as. The times I was around her she was a gracious and kind lady. I know she will be missed very much by family and friends. I pray God will be with you during this sad time but that you will find comfort under the shadow of His wings and in knowing she is at home with the Lord.

At least 3 FHS grads became librarians because of Miss Margie. I was one of them. I loved Miss Margie. She always believed in my ability and was proud of my accomplishments in the library and technology world. She was my confidant and consoler when my mother died...a true and loving friend. Indeed she rests in peace with the Lord forever.

Dear Wade Family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you! How lucky I was to have had Ms. Marjie in my life during my teen years. She was always such a positive influence, always supportive and encouraging. She and my dad grew up together, and he always adored her! Mama and I both will miss her! God comfort you in your loss!!
