I'm very late getting this terribly sad news. I've been remiss in staying in touch with the goings-on in Bernice since my parents died, and I certainly feel regret for that now! Dear, sweet Lynn, what a joyous, delightful, loving, giving person you were!! I've heard it said that often-times, these are the ones taken from us too soon because God needs them more than we do. In your case, I've no doubt that's true. After we reacquainted during the Bernice Centennial Celebration in 1999, whenever I thought of you (and I did so often), I thought of how you were the pure personification of Love and Light...truly an angel on Earth. I'm so grateful that we got the chance to know each other as "grownups"!! You shined a light into my very soul, and I know I'm a better person for having known you. Although those of us who remain here may now only see through a glass darkly, there will come a day when that will change. And on that day, for me, I hope to see you face-to-face in all of God's love and glory. Until then, goodnight, sweet princess, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I was shocked when I heard the news. You will be greatly missed. You welcomed me with opened arms as a friend. I will miss you and you will be in my thoughts. Mike, there is really no words in this world that can console you. I know, because I went through the same grief when my father passed away in February. My mother is still grieving . She went through all the emotions. I grieve with and for you. Try not to push anyone away in you grieving process. Surround yourself with the love and support of your family even if you only feel like you wish everyone will stop saying its going to be okay and that you will get over it . I know what its like , you just want to be able to cope from day to day. Your heart won't completely heal it will just scare over but you will be alright. You have many friends and family to help you along the way. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts,. GOD Bless YOU!

I still cannot believe this. You were one of my dearest, most precious friends - a true lifetime friend. I am going to miss you terribly. You have touched so many hearts in your time here on earth. Your love for your family and friends was like no other. Heaven is truly sweeter with you there. I know you are singing with your Daddy right now. What a joyful reunion I'm sure it was! And Mama Grafton, Aunt Bubba, Uncle Pete, Aunt Rene, the list goes on and on. I KNOW I will see you again. Save me a place next to you and we can sing Christmas carols together the way we did when our youth group went caroling every year. Love you so much and miss you already!
