Lyla Grace Barmore, 12, was born in West Monroe, LA on January 27, 2010 and entered heaven for her eternal dance in the sky on June 10, 2022. Lyla Grace will be remembered for her colorful, bright personality that brought joy to all those around her. She had a silly, mischievous smile that lit up a room and she truly cherished her many friends which were too numerous to count. She loved hard, dreamed big, and may (or may not) have been a wee-bit dramatic on occasion. She attended West Ridge Middle School, where she excelled, and recently completed 6th grade.
She was fancy, with a dash of sass, and knew what she liked, especially when it came to her fashion choices. She loved art and music, but especially loved to dance and was a proud member of the Comp3 Dance Group for the Linda Lavender School of Dance. Of all her loves, however, family was at the center. She adored, and was adored by, her parents. She was the best Big Sis, and considered her little siblings Drew and Vivian to be her “babies”. She also counted all of her cousins among her very best friends; Chandler Renfrow, Jonah DiGiovanni, Jett DiGiovanni, Cade Barmore, Emory Barmore, Jett Barmore, Sarah Kate Barmore, Addie Barmore, Bentley Gwin, Swayze Barmore, Billy Bolton II, Kandi Bolton, Kailey Appleby, Taylor Bignar, Maston Perkins and Evangeline Perkins.
Lyla Grace is already tremendously missed by the surviving members of her family, including her mother, Stacy Clark, with husband, Ian, and little brother, Andrew; and her father, Peyton Barmore, with wife, Ashley, and little sister, Vivian. She is survived by her grandparents Pam Renfrow, Andrew Clark, and Ted & Debbie Callaway; as well as her great grandparents, Jim & Vicki Childers, Orville Renfrow, Bobbye Clark, Glyn Clark and Irene “Rennie” Barmore. Also, her aunts and uncles, Jamie Renfrow, Morgan Renfrow, Brandon Barmore and wife Crystal, Adam Barmore and wife Beth, Billy Bolton and wife Nina, Jenene Bignar and husband Jamie, Cheri Perkins and husband Michael.
Lyla Grace was greeted in heaven by her grandparents Mark Renfrow, Patricia Clark, and Peggy Barmore, as well as her great grandparents, Lyla Childers, Annelle Renfrow, Pat Barmore, and Mack & Bobbie Brasher, all of whom predeceased her.
She was escorted into heaven alongside her PawPaw George “Mikie” Barmore, and her cousin and ”best sister” Emory Barmore.
