Lorraine was born January 11, 1940, in Picayune, MS and died August 13, 2024, in Ruston, LA. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Ruston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adam Fischer; her father, James J. Dawsey; mother, Nancy K. Smith; sisters, Hazel Johnson, Helen Spiers, Alice Smith; brothers, Herman Dawsey and Harold Dawsey.
She is survived by daughter, Sissy King and husband Ronnie; daughters, Lisa Fischer and Becky Fischer; son, Mike Fischer; brother. David Tifton; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lane King, Charlie Fischer, C.J. Fischer, Jacob Fischer, Josh Rodgers, and Lance Carroll. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie King and Mike Fischer
