Funeral services for Lonnie Boyd ¨Smiley Matheson, 37 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 7, 2006 at Living Way Apostolic Church West Monroe with Rev. Loy Tolbird and Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Lonnie was born July 20, 1968 in West Monroe, LA and passed away following a sudden illness July 3, 2006. Lonnie was a loving husband and daddy, a family man who was loved by all and a brother to many. Lonnie was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Loyal and kind, he was his mother≠s son, always there to lend a helping hand. Lonnie was a jokester, who showed his love with a playful pinch or a poke. He was a treasure and his smile will always be remembered. If you met him once, you were always considered his friend. Lonnie Matheson will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his father, C.R. ¨Smokey Matheson. Lonnie is survived by his wife, Angela Matheson; 2 children: Kimberly Renee≠ Matheson and Alisha Nicole Matheson; mother: Dorothy Jean Matheson Hogg; step-father: Norman Hogg; 7 siblings: Ronnie Matheson and wife Maria, Clarence Ronald Matheson, Jr., Craig Tarver and wife Mary, Ginger Hudleston and husband Ronnie, D≠Ann ¨DeeDee Mitcham and husband Mike, Becky Rote and husband Cliff, and Joy Matheson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Johnny Hite and Barbara Hite; brother-in-law, Michael Hite and wife Leslie, sister-in-law, Lorrie Henson and husband Tim; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Scotty Dortch, Robbi Griffin, Archie Martin, David Neathery, Roger Lee and Kevin Dunaway. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Hudleston, Sean Boudreaux and Kris Boyd.
