Funeral services for Lloyd Wayne Moore, 81, of Monroe, LA will be at 4:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. R. Z. “Butch” Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Moore was born on May 17, 1931 in Monroe, LA and passed away on February 5, 2013 in West Monroe, LA. He was the previous owner of a consumer loan finance company and at the time of death, he was part owner of a wholesale used car business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernest Moore; sisters, Imogene Harrell and Bonnie Upshaw. He was a loving and caring dad and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his daughters, Janice Varino and husband, Andy, Jill Roberts, Jackie McGaunn and husband, Shaun; brothers, Tom Moore, and Ray Moore; sisters, Claudine McLeod, and Jerri Ramsey; grandchildren, Richie Varino and wife, Tanasha, Alicia Luffey and husband, David and Scarlet McGaunn; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Dhayne, Nolan, Alyse, Sophia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Richie Varino, Charles Moore, Ken Upshaw, Garland Davis, Tod Richie, and Kenneth Ramsey. Memorial donations can be made to First Assembly of God, 715 Cypress Street, West Monroe, LA 71291. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
