Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Carol Bledsoe Terrell 73, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church Calhoun, LA. Rev. Neil Everett will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mrs. Terrell was born November 30, 1941 and passed away August 4, 2015 in West Monroe, surrounded by her family. She was a retired school teacher with Central Elementary School, a long-time volunteer with Glenwood Auxiliary, a member of First Baptist Church Calhoun, LA and a teacher of the Joy Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlon Terrell; parents, Carlton and Evelyn Bledsoe; and grandparents, Sidney and Nila Womack.Mrs. Terrell is survived by her sons, Carlton Terrell and wife Lisa, and Jeff Terrell and wife Janet; daughter Kellie T. Hillman and husband Barry; mother-in-law, Joy Terrell; sisters-in-law Elna Etheridge and husband Stan, Glenda Wilbanks and husband Randy, Patricia Sandy Jennings and husband Gene; brother-in-law, Phillip Terrell; grandchildren, Brandon Wilder and wife Katie, Victoria Wilder, Shane Wilder, Whitney Downey and husband Darby, Hannah Terrell, Jacob Terrell, Joy Terrell, Samantha Hillman and William Hillman; and 4 great-grandchildren, Caiden, Miles, Lilly and Slade.Pallbearers will be Delbert Wilbanks, Greg Adams, Wayne Oglesbee, Kevin Weems, Jimmy Haynes, and Benjamin Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Harrell, Donnie Gaar, and members of the Northeast LA Street Rod Club.Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Donations in Linda's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, LA Baptist Children's Home or The American Cancer Society.

I am so sorry for your loss. I've know your momma since I was a little girl. She taught me Sunday School at Central Baptist Church. She was the first person that introduced me to the book of Job and every time I read scripture from Job I think of Mrs. Linda.

Mrs. Linda was such a special lady. I will miss her laugh and beautiful smile. My love and prayers to the family.
