Linda Bridges, 61, of Linville, Louisiana passed away on August 9 in the Crossroads Community. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana.

Preceding her in death were her spouse, Luther Douglas Platt, parents, Andrew Jackson Bridges, Jr. and Lucille Freeberg Bridges and a sister Susan Bridges Fox.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Savanna Hodge and husband Chris of Farmerville; 4 grandchildren, James, Jordan, Mason, and Rebel; 5 great-grandchildren, Layla, Nathan, Wren, Hadli and Octavia; 3 sisters, Jackie Bridges Hooter and husband Eddie, Ginger Elizabeth Bridges, Lisa Cain and husband Chris; special niece, Samantha Tucker; special nephews, Joseph Bridges and wife Lacy of Marion and Gallagher Bridges of Israel; great-nephew and great-nieces, Remington, Alyssa, Rosie and Lily; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.

Linda was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and loved horse riding, fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. She was an excellent handyman and could fix anything!

The family would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice and Dr. Steven Unkel.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
