Services celebrating the home going of Mrs. Lillian Butcher Lewis, 75, of West Monroe, are 10:30AM on Saturday, October 29th, 2011, at the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. John Nocera and Rev. Otis Moore officiating. Interment follows at the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Lewis was born in Winnsboro on September 16th, 1936, and passed away on Tuesday, October 25th, 2011, in West Monroe. Lillian was a wonderful woman of God and loved her church and family very much. She was a charter member of the Harvest Assembly of God. Lillian loved to sing and anyone who was around her knew she loved to sing and sing loud. She was also devoted to her family and visiting with her sisters and brothers was the highlight of her life. Lillian was retired from BellSouth. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert L. and Gladys Butcher; husband, Seaburn Lewis; son, Keith Alan Lott; sisters, Sadie Googer, Edith Edwards, Lena Black, and Adelle Tucker. Survivors include her children, Charles Lewis, Lonnie Fontana, Debbie Gellner, and Sheila Linker; granddaughter, Amity Lewis; sisters, Jean Salter, Betty Alexander, Ophelia Sellers, and Olivia Redding; brothers, J.C. Butcher and Robert Butcher, Jr., and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is Friday, October 28th, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. ¨Lillian lived well, loved her God and family, and has now gone to see Jesus, Praise God.
