Funeral services for Lewis O. White will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. John Austin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.Lewis O. White, a former Crowville farmer, was the donut maker for Shipley for over 50 Years. Lewis was out of bed at 3 AM and up with the chickens because he was the man who got to make the donuts. Mr. White also enjoyed squirrel and deer hunting.He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky White. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary White; his daughter, Lavern Hearnsberger and husband Stanley Hearnsberger; sisters, Maxine Wallace and JoAnn Clark; brother, Travis White; grandchildren, Kurtis Hearnsberger, Stephanie Powell and her husband Ryan, and Marcia Leija; great-grandchildren, Tristin Powell and his wife, Karmen, Guiliana and Tres Leija, and Samaria Powell; great-great grandchild, Ella Powell, and best friends, Arvell Spillers and Carl Wallace. Pallbearers will be Stanley Hearnsberger, Kurtis Hearnsberger, Jonas Brinkley, Derrik Sims, Ladell Pate, and Montez Pate.
