Mr. Levi ¨L.C. Cox, Jr. Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Graveside services for Mr. Levi ¨L.C. Cox, Jr., age 81, will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Fenn. Mr. Cox was born on March 3, 1925 in Cotton Valley, LA and passed away on February 28, 2007 in West Monroe. Mr. Cox was retired after 37 years from Texas Gas Transmission Corp where he held many positions. He was a member or First Baptist Church of West Monroe and was an ordained deacon. Mr. Cox served his country in the U.S Army. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Bettie Baxter Cox; daughters, Mildred Cox of Dallas, TX, Martha Elzen of Nashville, TN and Marilyn Jones and husband Ronnie of Vicksburg, MS; son, Murray Cox and wife Sylvia of Shalimar, FL; grandchildren, Brian Jones of Baton Rouge, Amie Jones Burroughs of Vicksburg, MS, Elisa Cox of New Orleans, LA, Tina Cox of Shalimar, FL, Sonia Cox of Shalimar, Fl, Ethan Cox Elzen and wife Jenny of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Birma Barrett, Shirley Howard, Emily Sue Woodruff and husband John; brothers, Ricard Cox and wife Thelma, Orville D. Cox and wife Dorothy Nell and Willard Cox and wife Marie and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children≠s Home.
